Thus, a Six Sigma Yellow Belt will support Black Belts with activities such as process mapping. Yellow Belts are often participants in the PDCA cycle, so they must understand the thinking behind it. Of course, the elements of problem solving are a key skill that a Six Sigma Yellow Belt must posses.

Often times engineers, quality managmers, and other professional wonder if it is worth the time and expense to get Six Sigma Yellow Belt Traning and Certification. The answer is that it is almost always worth it. The exception would be if you are planning on attending a Green Belt or Green Belt Certification course or training in the near future.
